What year will we get sex education? UK, Thanks xx?

Im 13, in year 9 at school in year 6 we got the period and puberty talk, in year 7 we got more puberty and period talk and now im wondering when we are going to get the sex education my friends brother said you get it in year nine and you watch videos and have to put a condom on a banana or something?
so my question is when will we get sex education?
also what lesson do you get it in? (science, lifeskills)

in Va we got it in about ninth grade so yeah yall should be learning it this year or maby next year
